Optimization of field reversed configuration for “Ying-Guang 1”

摘要: 相较于传统的惯性约束聚变及磁约束聚变,磁化靶聚变技术可能是一种实现纯聚变更低廉更有效的途径。针对中国工程物理研究院流体物理研究所设计的荧光-1实验装置,利用二维磁流体力学模拟程序MPF-2D,从理论上详细分析了各实验输入参数(如初始磁场、初始密度、主磁场等)对该装置上反场构形性质的影响。为即将进行的实验推荐了三组实验输入参数:初始磁场0.3 T,初始密度71015 cm-3,磁镜场-2.0~-1.0 T,主磁场-4.0~-3.0 T。Abstract: Magnetized target fusion is an alternative approach to fusion, which lies between the conventional inertial confinement fusion and magnetic confinement fusion. In this paper, a two-dimensional magneto-hydrodynamic code MPF-2D is used to study the formation process of field reversed configuration on Ying-Guang 1 device, which is constructed by the Institute of Fluid Physics, China Academy of Engineering Physics. The influence of experimental parameters is studied in details, and three groups of experimental input parameters are suggested for the incoming experiment, of which the bias fields are 0.3 T, the initial densities are 71015 cm-3, the cusp fields are from -1.0 T to -2.0 T and the main fields are from -3.0 T to -4.0 T.
