Ignition mode of non-thermal nanosecond-pulse transient plasma

摘要: 应用高压纳秒脉冲放电技术分别产生了瞬时冷等离子体和瞬时热等离子体。在圆柱型燃烧室内进行了乙烯/空气预混气的瞬时冷等离子体和瞬时热等离子体点火实验。实验结果表明,瞬时冷等离子体放电所需的电能小于瞬时热等离子体放电。与瞬时热等离子体点火技术相比,瞬时冷等离子体点火缩短了碳氢燃料的点火延迟时间。Abstract: The paper presents the results of non-thermal transient plasma and thermal transient plasma ignition for delay reduction of quiescent ethene-air mixture in a cylinder combustion chamber. The non-thermal transient plasma and thermal transient plasma were produced by nanosecond high voltage pulse discharge. The results from the experiments indicated that electrical energy consumption of non-thermal transient plasma was lower than that of thermal transient plasma. Non-thermal transient plasma ignition has demonstrated reductions in ignition delay compared to thermal transient plasma ignition.
