The mechanical oscillation of the fast steering mirror in adaptive optics system and its effect on control stability are discussed in this paper. The dynamic model of FSM is established on base of measured data. The lowpass filter (LPF) and the double secon drank filter (DSF) are tested to reduce the mechanical oscillation of FSM. It is showed that both the control stability and control bandwidth are improved by the filter technology.
