STUDY ON TIME AND SPACE RESOLVED IMAGE OF 3ω0/2 LIGHT IN LASER PLASMA

  • The experimental measurement of the 3ω0/2 scattered light in plasmas which were produced by 1.06μs laser light irradiating gold disk targets is reported in the paper. The experiment results showed the emission of the 3ω0/2 light is obviously rippled and the breaking time between two emission is about 280ps, which is coincide with the calculation results from Two Plasmon Decay's saturation theory modeling. Also the average speed of the surface with 1/4 critical density moving to the opposite direction of the target nurmal is observed to be about 5. 0×107cm2.
