The paper describes the design and construction of an intracavity intensity enhanced hot-band CW CO2 laser with the line selected by concave grating. In this laser, using a gas mixture of 13% CO2, 15% N2 and 72% He (volume fraction) at a total pressure of 1 074.9 Pa and a discharge current of 25 mA, more than 100 laser lines are observed from R(56) to P(60) in the regular band 0001-[1000, 0200]Ⅰ,Ⅱ, besides, another 18 lines in 11 μm wavelength region with 9 lines in the 0111-0310 band and 9 lines in the 0111-1110 band, are also observed under the condition of no hot CO2 absorption cell in the cavity.
