The temperature rise and its rate of coated 45 # steel were calculated. The temperature varing with target thickness and laser intensity was analyzed. The influence of surface condition on temperature was also studied. Laser spot influence on temperature rise was given under the same laser power and target thickness. The temperature rise rate varing with irradiation time and target thickness was analyzed according to temperature rise.
