Abstract:
The wavefront reconstructing is bound to be influenced by the subaperture partition manner based on certain deformable mirror in adaptive optics. This paper takes account of this issue. Zonal wavefront reconstructing model is adopted, the least-squares solution is applied, and the condition number of wavefront-reconstruction-matrix is used to estimate how its morbidity is. The computer simulation results indicate that the morbidity is mainly influenced by the number of subapertures; appropriate manner of subaperture partition may greatly decrease the degree of the morbidity.

The light intensity of the first-to thrid-order Stokes Raman spectra Raman spectra lines of Carbon disulfide is altered by using fluorescence of dye Rhodamine B in ethanol. The third-order Stokes Raman spectrum line is selectively enhanced. When the pumping power density is ~560MW× cm- 2, phenomena of resonance between the third-order Stokes Raman spectrum line and the dye laser, and of the part or complete depletion of the first and the second-order Stodes Raman spectra line are observed. The concentration of dye Rhodamine B is ~10- 5M and ~10- 4M, and the cell length is 5cm or 1cm. The physical mechanism of the phenomena is discussed.

Abstract:
By using the Zernike and the Karhunen-Loeve wavefront reconstruction algorithm, the wavefront reconstruction error of a Hartmann sensor on measuring the atmosphere disturbed wavefront was analyzed in this paper. In the condition of without measurement noise, there are two kinds of wavefront reconstruction errors: the mode coupling error causing by finite spatial frequency of sub-apertures and the mode cutting error by using finite mode numbers. It is showed that the wavefront reconstruction error will be minimum while optimal mode numbers were using, and the Karhunen-Loeve algorithm is somewhat better than the Zernike algorithm.

Rare-earth Yb film targets were prepared on to glass substrates with electron-beam evaporation, and were exposed to various oxidation atmosphere. The valance, species, morphology and the structure of the oxide layer were studied with X-ray photon electron spectroscopy, Auger electron spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The surface of the films is found to have a layer structure, with the oxide layer covered by a hydroxide layer and adsorbed layer. The hydroxide and oxide layer are amorphous, the water in the oxidation atmosphere is the key factor resulting the increase of the ytterbiun film oxidation rate.

The focusing locations of stray light are calculated based on the design data of 4-pass cavity, an example from the SG-III prototype module main amplifier. Numerical simulation results by ray tracing method show that more than 900 ghost images (1st to 3rd order) are generated by surface reflection of transport spatial filter lenses, and the peak fluency of some ghosts exceed typical optical damage level on the laser material.

Abstract:
Taking the second harmoic generation of Gaussian beam in a KDP crystal of type I matching for example, the effects of diffraction and walkoff to doubling conversion efficiency have been worked out. The result indicates that the effect of diffraction is very small and can even be neglected. When the input Gaussian beam size is very small, the walkoff is very deleterious to doubling conversion. Along with the enlarging of beam size, the effect of walkoff is much smaller. Finally it can even be neglected.

In the paper charge loss cross sections for muliti-charge carbon ions by collision with neutral hydrogen or helium atoms been investigated. Meanwhile electrical potential functions and electron momentum distributions for multi-charge carbon ions have been calculated as well by using binary encounter and Thomas-Fermi approximations. Charge loss section data for multi-charge carbon ions accord well with those of Shirai’s results. The formulae used here and computetional programme developed can be applied to any multi-charge ions, and there is some universility in them.

The preparation process of thin silicon foil used to study the spatial nonuniformity in the laser driven intensity was introduced. Oxidation, diffusion, photoetching process and etching technology were adopted to achieve thin silicon foil with a thickness of 3 to 4 micrometers. The surface roughness was about tens nanometers and the grain size of silicon film was nanometer scale. The preparation parameters were studied to control the roughness of thin silicon foil.

Abstract:
Under local thermodynamic equilibrium conditions(LTE), the Monte-Carlo model is used to calculate the spectra of Y-like and Zr-like Au ions in the plasmas. The main point of Monte Carlo model is simulating lines of unresolved transition arrays by assign a random energy and strength to each line, it is then given an assumed Gaussian shape. And added to a plot of the spectrum.

This paper introduces one non-interceptive beam intensity measurement by using a cylindrically capacitive which is originally used for the measurements of beam bunch length and central phase. The induced signal from the probe now is used for measuring simultaneously all the three beam characteristics for around m A heavy ions at HIRFL accelerator complex. The measurement principle for beam intensity and the system structure are presented. Applying the technique of virtual instruments to the system is described briefly. The preliminary experimental results are also given.

Abstract:
Transverse impedances can be derived from transmission coefficients measured along one of the coaxial wires driven by a 180° hybrid. Our results show that the newly designed cavities behave better than the old prototype cavity with larger transverse impedance, and among the newly designed cavities, dielectric cavity with a coxial like accelerating gap geometry should be the first choice because the transverse impedance of the worse lower mode is oppressed efficiently.

Abstract:
The beam four-dimensional transverse phase-space density distribution (4D-TPSD) is an important physical quantity in beam dynamic. Except the 2-D emittance (a kind of its reducing form), which is commonly measured in a precision of ten percent, there is no way to measure the 4D-TPSD up to now according to my knowledge. In this paper, a method of measuring 4D-TPSD is proposed. Based on the 4-D Radon transform, a section of linear transporting line with two adjustable independent complete parameters (for example, a set of F,D quadrupoles) can be used as the equipment for measuring 4D-TPSD. Because this method is a kind of digital processing as similar to the CT (Computerized Tomography), the precision of the resulted 4D-TPSD will be satisfied for variety of applications (basic researching or

Abstract:
Self-consistent equations for the beam-wave interaction in the electron guiding center coordinate are derived. Two new conclusions are drawn by theoretical analysis: the axial bunching and azimuthal bunching can be reinforced in some cases; the effect of the force bunching may surpass the inertial bunching and generate a small gain dip in the small signal region. Theoretical analysis is verified by numerical simulation.
