THE FEASIBILITY OF HIGH PRESSURE OPERATION AND DETERMINATION OF THE OPTIMUM GAIN ZONE IN CHEMICAL OXYGEN-IODINE LASERS

  • By means of a simple model , we have theoretically proved that in the chemical oxygen iodline laser system, there is a optimum gain zone depending on the total oxygen pressure and predicted the posibility of high pressure operation . In the end, the method is given to determine the optimum gain zone.
