SIMULATIONS OF OPTICAL PULSES IN RF FREE ELECTRON LASER

The effects induced by shape of electron pulse,jitter,energy spread and desynchronismon the evolution of optical pulses are analysed by 1-D pulse code. Under the same conditions,thesaturation value of the optical pulse energy can be raised nearly to 2 times by making use of aback tilted electron pulse.
