CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF A HIGH BRIGHTNESS SUPERCONDUCTING PHOTOCATHODE INJECTOR WITH 1(1/2) CELLS

Abstract
The design of an rf cavity consisting of 11/2 cells for a high -brightness SC photocathode injector is presented. The reentrant cavity was selected as the first cavity for the injector due to the high peak accelerating field on the cathode. Furthermore, the beam dynamics is studied in this paper. Finally, the parameters of the 11/2 cell cavity are given.
