Measurement of O2(a1Δ)yield of COIL singlet oxygen generator using Raman spectroscopy

  • A spontaneous Raman scatting system was used to measure the O2(a1Δ)yield of singlet oxygen generator for chemical oxygen iodine laser. Many common experimental problems, such as fluctuations in laser power, dirty windows, and misalignment, can be ratioed out because of monitoring in the same measurement volume. Present the results from the tests that conducted on 0.1mol/s jettype singlet oxygen generator. The error in the yield measurement is less than 8%.
