SHOCK ADIABAT MEASUREMENTS ON COPPER IN THE PRESSURE RANGE FROM 0.4 TO 0.8 TPa

  • In this paper, the experimental results of Al-Cu impedance-match targets, performed on "Shenguang" facility under the pressures of (0.4-0.8) TPa, is presented. The measured data are closely in accord with that of the extrapolation both from the lower pressure measurement using high-explosive loading facility and the higher pressure measurement under underground nuclear test environment.
