EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF SUPRATHERMAL ELECTRONS IN CAVITY-CONFIGURATED TARGETS

  • Experiments to study Raman scattering and saprathemal electrons for both planar and hohlram targets are described. Spectra, angular distributions and energy of hard X rays produced by suprathermal electrons and scattered Raman light are measured. Furthermore, the temperature of suprathermal electrons is desived.The results are analysed and discussed.
