STUDY ON WAVE BEAM SPLITTING IN STEPPED RECTANGULAR WAVEGUIDE

  • The superposition and splitting characteristics of fields in a rectangular stepped waveguide are analyzed with the way of matched field. By using numerical method, the relationship between distribution of fields and the transmission distance is studied. And the process of one TE 10 wave beam splitting to two is modeled by computer. The theoretical results not only are useful for divising relevant devices but also offer preparation for further work in studying FEM system.
