BEAM QUALITY IMPROVEMENT USING COLLIMATING APERTURES
The article describes a method for acquising a high quality intense relativistic electron beam(IREB) using a collimating aperture and a guiding magnetic field, on the 1.5MeV LIA beams with much less energy spread, higher brightness and faster risetime and falltime have been produced.
