Design and analysis methods of vacuum insulator stack of Zpinch device

Based on analysis and comparison of overseas designs of vacuum insulator stacks(VIS) of Zpinch devices, the paper summarizes and discusses the key points of VIS designing and manufacturing. Firstly, it describes the way of VIS development in general, then details the following key points: electrostatic numerical simulation, inductance parameter calculation and circuit simulation, flashover probability analysis, VIS structure stability analysis and material selection. Finally, the paper dicusses the optimization and further application of flashover probability analysis method.
