A CALORIMETER WITH ARRAY DETECTORS

Abstract
A 5×25=125 detector array has been designed for a calorimeter. Each element is consisted with a graphite block and a chromel-alumel. Conglutination between the thermocouple wire and the graphite block and to extract the hundreds of the wires of the thermocouples from the vacuum cell. A new "0"-point set up was designed first of all using the critical temperature of the liquid nitrogen as the "0"-point of the temperature.
A FY-1 data acquisition system was used for the detector array. The energy distribution of the electron beam has been measured on large-area diode with the system.
