RESEARCH AND DESIGN OF SG-1 FREE ELECTRON LASER

SG-1 Free Electron Laser (SG-1 FEL) is a high power millimeter wavelength FEL amplifier. It consists of a 3.5MeV induction linac, an electron beam modulation system, a tapered wiggler and a microwave source et al. The physical design and main technical parameters of SG-1 FEL are presented in this paper. The experimental research, mathematical simulation, physical design and configuration features for the main parts of FEL are emphatically analyzed.
