THE RESEARCH ON LASER ABSORPTIONMECHANISMS AND LASER-INDUCED DAMAGETHRESHOLDS FOR InSb MATERIAL

  • The laser-induced damage thresholds of InSb at laser wavelengths of 0.69μm and 10.6μm are studied in this paper. The laser absorption mechanisms and the temperature dependences of optical and thermal transport properties of InSb material are considered. The calculated results are compared with the experimental values. The dependences of laser-induced damage thresholds on laser pulse duration are obtained.
