LINEARIZATION OF RADIAL ELECTRICAL FIELD IN THEk HIGH-BRIGHTNESS INJECTOR

This paper discusses beam emittance growth caused by radiofrequency electrical field force, and the anode equipotential line for linearizing radial field of standing-wave cavity are given.We also describe how to design the anode to linearize the radial electrical field for reducing emittence growth and a criterion is given out to measure the linear level in the accelerating cavity.
