THE SENSITIVITY CALIBRATION OF THE PLASTIC SCINTILLATION DETECTRS FOR D-T NEUTUTRONS

  • In order to measure the D-T neutron yield of laser fusion at LF-12 facility, the D-T neutron sensitivities of the plastic scintillation detectors were calibrated by the direct current neutrons from NS-200 accelerator and the pulsed neutrons from the pulsed neutron tube.The measurement errors under the two conditions were ±13% and ±50%,separately.The two kinds of calibration results are in agreement within the experiment error extent.
