EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATION ON X-RAY LASERS WITH LOWER PUMPED LASER ENERGY

  • Authors performed experiment on collisionally excited X-ray lasers in "Xing Guang" facility by reducing width of line focus and keeping a proper power density. The pumped laser energy is about 150~180 J,width of line focus is about 80μm and power density on target is about 10TW/cm2. The Ne-like Ge 23.2nm,23.6nm and 28.6nm laser transition lines are observed. And the Ne-like Zn 26.2nm,26.7nm laser transition lines are observed.
