A THEORETICAL MODEL OF LASER GENERATION X RAY

Based on analysing the resuits of numerical simulating computation, this paper presents a theoretical model of calculating laser X-ray conversion for the plane Au targets and deduce the analytical expressions of the X-ray conversion efficiency and some characteristic quantites. Some important quantites are calculated exhaustively in the range of interesting laser intensities. The qualitative tendencies and quantitative results of the variation of every quantity with laser intensity calculated by the theoretical model are in good agreement with those obtained by the experiments.
