EFFECTS OF WIND DIRECTION AND GRADIENT ON SMALL SCALE THERMAL BLOOMING INSTABILITY

  • Effects of wind direction and gradient on the instability of small scale thermal blooming are studied, both in the frame of experiment and numerical simulation. The results show that the wind, parallel to the direction ofperturbationgradient,can partly supress the instability,however the wind, vertical to the direction ofperturbation gradient, does not.
