OPTIMUM OF ATTENUATOR TAPER MATCHING STRUCTURE FOR MILLIMETER-WAVE HIGH POWER PULSE TEST

Abstract
A new structure of microwave and millimeter-wave attenuator is suggested for using in high power pulse test. Ritz-Rayleigh Method is imployed to calculate the characteristic impedance and propagation constanee of this structure. On this basis,an optimum process is used to match the absorbing material in waveguide.Theory and experiment show that the attenuator has low return loss and high handling power.
