Abstract:
The technology of producting hollow glas microsphere with drop furnace is presented. The effect of flow rate of furnace air, temperature, orifice size, feed pressure of the solution, solids content in the glass forming solution and content of the blowing agent on performance parameter such as diameter and wall thickness of the microsphere are systematically studied. The hollow glass microsphere of diameter with Φl00~300
μm and wall thickness with 0.5~3.O
μm have beenproducted with new technology successfully.
