激光脉冲在阶跃型多模光纤中的传输

  • 摘要: 对紫外激光脉冲在阶跃型多模光纤中的传输特性,包括材料色散、 模式色散、非线性效应、耦合方式、光纤功率支撑能力等方面进行了理论分析和实验研究。结果表明,该光纤对ps量级脉冲的功率支撑能力有限,而对于ns量级的紫外脉冲,是一种较好的传输介质。

     

    Abstract: The object is to analyze theoretically and test experimentally the pro pagation characteristic of u ltraviolet laser pulse in stepindex multimode fiber. Experimental results sho w that with the picosecondlevel output laser pulse from fiber, the power supp ortability of that fiber is confined. on the other hand, when nanosecondlevel output laser pulse passes tens of meters through fiber, It is a useable propag ation medium.
