Inline beam spot measurement of highcurrent shortpulse electronbeam

  • 摘要: 介绍了一套基于切伦科夫辐射的用于强流短脉冲电子束束斑实时测量的装置。切伦科夫辐射体采用厚度为0.5mm、直径为80mm的石英玻璃,背面经过磨砂处理,安装在磁密封真空传动装置上,可以随传动杆上下左右转动。切伦科夫光经滤光片后由CCD相机进行接收,图像信号经CAMPE1000F(H)型黑白图像采集卡读入计算机进行处理。报告了在中国工程物理研究院流体物理研究所的12MeV LIA和2MeV注入器上进行的束斑测量实验结果。

     

    Abstract: An online beam spot diagnostic system for high current,short pulse electron beam based on Cerenkov radiation is introduced. A 0.5mmthick, 80mmdia. quartz foil, which is placed on the actuator, is chosen as the radiator. The Cerenkov radiation signals are detected by CCD camera and the images are processed by computer. Results of beam spot measurement on the 2MeV injector and 12MeV LIA of CAEP are reported.
