Abstract: The longitudinal weakfield for the two counter-rotating beams is studied in this paper. It is conclude that the shunt impedance seen by the counter-moving particle is in general complex. One formula for two-beam's longitudinal coupled bunch instability is developed and the character of two-beam instabilities is presented.
