Abstract: This paper introduced Power Conditioning System preionization circuit experimental research. The preionization circuit oscillates possibly. Increasing main discharge delay or increasing the preionization inductor, the oscillation can be avoided. With preionization the flash-lamp current waveform becomes favorable for improving the amplifier efficiency.
