Abstract: This paper reviews that the various reported laserinduced effects, especially the softdamage or harddamage ones, of the CCD detectors or the familiar materials structures, collects various kinds of laserinduced damage thresholds, and gives those experimental methods. By comparing each other, the laserinduced damage mechanisms and theoretical models have been analyzed．
