Abstract: In this paper,the relation between the beam emittance and the condition of dispersion free at long straight sections for HLS storage ring was presented; The calculation of the lowest emittance of the storage ring was carried out while considering H function matching condition; Theory basis was afforded for the multi-modes operation of the light source.
