Abstract: A plasma kinetic analysis and a nonlinear particle simulation on a hybrid peniotron are made in this paper. The kinetic results point out it is a hybrid device which is based on peniotron抯 operating mechanism. The simulation verifies this conclusion and shows it has two merits: high efficiency and high frequency.
