Abstract: Using a metal-ceramic triode as the H. V. Pulse generator, a high operating frequency and long lifetime driver for electro-optic Q –switches was designed. The driver can work at 1kHz. The amplitude of the output pulse is 2.5~8kV and the risetime is shorter than 25ns.
