Abstract: The beam current, energy and brightness of 2MeV injector for 20MeV LIA have been up to 3kA, 2MeV and 108A/(m-rad)2 respectively after the debugging experiment has been lasting for more than one year. A two-dimensional model was used to simulate the processes of electron emission and beam transportation. The calculated results, compared with the experimental results, were analyzed.
