毫米波自由电子激光的数值摸拟和定标律

NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS AND SCALING LAWS FOR MICROWAVE FREE ELECTRON LASERS

  • 摘要: 本文用毫米波自由电子激光三维程序(WAGFEL程序)对典型的矩形波导管毫米波自由电子激光放大器的情况进行了计算、并将所得结果与线性理论进行了比较。两者之间有很好的一致性。同时,考察了电流、束流能散度、空间电荷效应等因素对激光增益系数的影响。在束流亮度不变的情况下,考察了饱和输出功率和饱和功率位置与电流的关系,得到了一些十分有用的定标律。此外,还考察了波导效应、空间电荷效应以及β2<1效应对共振磁场漂移的影响。

     

    Abstract: Simulations of millimeter-wave free electron laser amplifiers with a typicat rectangwiar wars were made using a 3-D free electron laser amplifier code (WAGFEL).Te results were in good agreement water those of linear theory.Meanwhile,effects of the beam current.energy spread and space charge on gam coefiacnt-were examined.Furthermore,the dependence of values of saturated outputs on the electron current.in position of saturation was studied and some useful relations for scaling were obtained.
