Abstract: With the help of electron cooling code, the influence of the main parameters of electron cooling device on the cooling time was simulated, cooling times of 238U91+ ion with the energy 400MeV/u at different parameters were calculated, and the factors which influence the cooling time were analyzed in this paper.
