电子束泵浦KrF激光放大器增益与吸收的测量

MEASUREMENTS OF GAIN AND ABSORPTION IN AN e-BEAM-PUMPED KrF AMPLIFIER

  • 摘要: 为研制百焦耳级KrF激光放大器,发展MOPA系统,我们用自探测法在百焦耳级电子束泵浦KrF激光装置上进行了激光放大器的增益与吸收的测量。泵浦率约为0.67MW/cm2,激光介质为89.6%Ar:10%Kr:0.4%F2的混合气体,总气压0.25MPa,实验测得激光放大器的小信号增益系数g0=6.6%cm-1、非饱和吸收系数αn=0.93%cm-1、饱和光强Is=2.5MW/cm2

     

    Abstract: In this paper, we present the experimental measurements of gain and absorption in an e-beam pumped KrF laser amplifier with the self-detection method, which gives useful information for the design of one hundred joules level KrF amplifier and MOPA system. Under the situation of pump rate of 0.67MW/cm2,gas mixture of 89.6%Ar:10%Kr:0.4%F2 and total pressure of 0.25MPa,measurements result gives a small-signal gain coefficient of 6.6 percent/cm,a nonsaturable absorption coefficient of 0.93 percent/cm and a saturation intensity of 2.5MW/cm2
