俄歇效应泵浦的波长1089A的激光增益实验

摘要: 本文介绍了LF-11#钕玻璃激光装置上进行的一次短波长激光增益实验。用波长1.06μm、能量20J、脉宽650ps左右的激光束辐照钽靶,形成的等离子体发射出能区在70到130eV之间的软X射线,然后用软X射线去泵浦压强为266.6Pa的Xe气激光工作介质,产生出1089A的激光。实验得出小信号激光增益系数a=2.38/cm。激光持续时间为700ps。Abstract: We report the observation of gain of a short-wavelength laser at 1089A.The laser is pumped by soft x rays emitted from a laser-produced plasma.A maximum gain of 2.38/cm over a length of 3cm is obtained.We also give the intensity distribution of laser emission.The full width at half maximum of this distribution is about 700ps.
