Abstract: Excitation cross sections andrate coefficients amongfine-structure levels of Cr²¹⁺ inwater window are calculated by using the Z-scaled hydrogenic approxi- mation and Coulomb-Born-exchanged method. In the computation, the effective nuclear charges are modified so that the correlation effects and relativistic effects are taken into account more etfectively.
