Abstract: The basic principle and construction of the pulse sharpener used for improving pulse rise-time in 200kV generator are described in this paper.In substanee,it consists of many small non-linear inductances. The results of the experiment are in good agreement with the design values,the pulse rise-time is shortened from 1.5us to 0.3us.
