Abstract:
KrF excimer laser with wide bandwidth induced backforward stimu- lated Brillouin Scattering in high purity SF
6 gas at IMPa. The variations of SBS energy and reflectivity via intensity of pumping laser and pressure of SF. were investigated in ex- periments. The threshold of pumping laser that caused SBS is 1.18×10
4MW/cm
2, and the energy of SBS is 13mJ, the reflectivity is 10%o. The phase conjugation of SBS were esti- mated in experiment, the uniformity of near field increased, and the beam quality im- proved. The output SBS pulse duration is 6.8ns while the pumping pulse duration is 25ns, the compression ratio is 4.
