Abstract: In this paper,we have analysised the technical character of FEL,estimated its present status,developing trend and application prospect in the home and abroad.Meanwhile we have also reviewed the significance of developing FEL,its position, role and dificulties.Finally we have presented some suggestions for FEL future developments in our country.
