Abstract: The discharge circuit of a Marx generator is analysed in this paper and a common calculating program is given. On the basis of theoretical analysis, a high voltage fast-rise pulse generator, whose output voltage is 160kV, and rise-time is less than 5ns, has been designed and manufactured.
