Abstract: The optical diagnostic results for Beijing Free Electron Laser spontaneous emission,first lasing experiments are given in this paper combined with the introduction to BFEL IR-spectrometer,and data processing methods. Also a new method for obtaining the e-beam time resolution energy spectrum through the optical diagnostic results is discused under the analysis of its practicability.
