存在漂移管和引导磁场情况下强流电子束的发射度

EMITTANCE OF HIGH CURRENT BEAMS IN THE PRESENCE OF DRIFT TUBE AND LONGITUDINAL GUIDING MAGNETIC FIELD

  • 摘要: 文中考虑了当电子束绕引导磁场发生旋转运动时,强流电子束的发射性质。在均匀分布电荷情况下,导出了发射度的公式,给出了发射度和正则角动量的关系。在轴对称非线性分布电荷情况下,得出了比T.P.Wangler等所给出的更普遍的电子束发射度变化公式。

     

    Abstract: Emittance formulas of a beam in the guiding magnetic field, where electrons undergo a rotary motion, are deduced. In the case of uniform distribution of space charge, the relation between emittance and the canonical angular momentum of the beam is given. For non-linear distributions a third term must be added to the formula given by T.P. Wangler, which is the contribution of the rotating energy of the beam.
