ICMRE2023
June 5-9, 2023
Zhuhai, China
The 6th International Conference on Matter and Radiation at Extremes (ICMRE2023) will be held from June 5th to 9th, 2023 in Zhuhai, China. ICMRE2023 will be hosted by Science and Technology on Plasma Physics Laboratory and Beijing Normal University, and will be supported by the journal Matter and Radiation at Extremes (MRE).
The International Conference on Matter and Radiation at Extremes (ICMRE) is an international conference convened periodically since 2016. The 1st (ICMRE2016), 2nd (ICMRE2017), 3rd (ICMRE2018) and 4th (ICMRE2019) were held successfully in Chengdu, Beijing, Tsingtao and Hefei China, respectively. The 5th ICMRE was postponed to 2022 and was held virtually. It will provide an opportunity to discuss the latest results of physics, technology and applications in the area of matter and radiation at extremes.

Awards
l MRE Young Scientist Award
MRE Young Scientist Award (MRE YSA) is a worldwide campaign, aiming to stimulate
young scholars worldwide to deliver their important, original and innovative achievements in the fields of science and technology on matter and radiation at extremes. This event is initiated by the AIP academic journal Matter and Radiation at Extremes in 2019. In 2023, the 4th MRE Young Scientist Award contest will be held online via MRE Webinars, and winners will be invited to take part in the prize presentation at ICMRE2023.
MRE YSA is open for application now. The deadline for application is March 31, 2023. More detail please refer to the following webpage: https://aip.scitation.org/mre/info/youngscientist
l Best Poster Award
All contributors for poster presentation are welcome to apply for the Best Post Award. More detail please refer to the conference website.
MRE Forum
The international forum, sponsored by MRE, will engage experts worldwide with each presenting views and background information on selected topic. After presentations of views there will be discussion among the experts and audience questions.

Appendix B:
Zhuhai—A Livable Garden City Linked by Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge
Located at the southern tip of the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong Province, Zhuhai is one of the seven special economic zones in China. It faces Hong Kong to the east across the sea and joins Macau to the south and Zhongshan to the north. The completion of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge makes Zhuhai the only city in the mainland connected to Hong Kong and Macao by land. The 55 kilometers (22 miles) long bridge shortens the time for land transportation between Zhuhai, Macao and Hong Kong from 3 hours to 45 minutes. Zhuhai is a gardenlike coastal city with 146 charming islands. There are not only long coastlines and excellent beaches, but also a large number of parks which are scattered in every corner of the city and open to tourists free of charge. "Livable" is the label of Zhuhai. It has always been rated as Livable City, Garden City or Happy City, which has also become a highlight of Zhuhai's tourism.
